Segments help you send emails to a specific part of a list.
When to Use a Segment
Use a segment when you do not want to send to everyone.
Examples:
- Send only to VIP customers.
- Send only to people from a specific city.
- Send only to people who joined after a selected date.
- Send only to people who opened a previous campaign.
Create a Segment
1. Go to Audience > Lists.
2. Open the list.
3. Go to Segments.
4. Click Create Segment.
5. Enter a clear segment name.
6. Add the filter conditions.
7. Save.
Use a Segment in a Campaign
1. Create or edit a campaign.
2. Go to the Recipients step.
3. Select the list.
4. Choose the segment.
5. Continue the campaign setup.
